Studio Channel Islands Art Center celebrates the grand opening of their expanded Artist Studios on August 21st with a full day of free family activities culminating with our annual fund-raising Gala Reception and Live Auction. Free Daytime activities feature children’s art programs, studio tours, a Plein Air exhibit, the Handweavers & Spinners Festival, and an historic exhibition by the Pleasant Valley Historical Society showcasing Old Town Camarillo.

Taste of Hope held their 1st Annual Ethiopian Nights Fundraiser Saturday August 21, 2010 at  the Presidio Hotel  in Santa Barbara. It was a special evening, with Ethiopian musical guest Alula, there was even a raffle with wonder gifts
