Fox Fine Jewelry presents the works by married couple Kent and Sharon Butler from March 10 through May 15. An Artist Reception will be held on March 12 from 6 – 8pm.
Sharon Butler grew up in South Africa, but moved to Ventura in 1967. Kent Butler is from Utah, but owned a commercial sign shop in Manhattan Beach. Both moved to Ojai, and in 1982 they met and then married.
Kent is known for his unique and intensely colorful acrylic landscapes, as well as his black and white drawings. Sharon prefers to paint horses and Native American subjects, usually in acrylics, and sometimes incorporating leather and other materials.
