Ojai Studio Artists Host Spring Studio Tours and Lectures Accompanying Ojai Valley Museum Show

Pamela Grau Sea Garden Community 27x49 mixed media 2013The Ojai Valley Museum will reopen their doors on April 19, 2014. The first show in the Rotating Gallery of the newly renovated museum is "Rejuvenation," featuring the work of the Ojai Studio Artists. An added highlight accompanying the show will be a series of Saturday morning lectures given by different OSA artists who will discuss their work and answer questions. In the afternoon, those artists will open their studios to visitors. There will be no charge for the lectures and tours.

The lecture schedule is as follows:

Artist Talks each Saturday 11 - 12 (noon)

Studio Tours will follow from 2 - 5 p.m.

May 3rd: Museum Director and Exhibit Curator Michele Ellis Pracy, Shahastra Levy, Richard Amend and Gayel Childress

May 10: Martha Moran, Duane Dammeyer and Devin Oatway

May 17: David Reeser, Carolyn Fox and Linda Taylor

May 24: Ray Harding, Carlos Grasso and Marta Nelson

May 31: Museum Director and Exhibit Curator Michele Ellis Pracy, Jeffrey Crussell, Pamela Grau, Brian Berman and Ted Gall

June 7: Susan Guy, Soni Wright and Elisse Pogofsky-Harris

June 14: Museum Director and Exhibit Curator Michele Ellis Pracy, Sylvia Raz and Douglas Lochne

"Rejuvenation" will be open between April 19 - June 15. The artists reception will take place on Saturday April 25, from 5 - 7 p.m. and everyone is welcome.
